Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 August 2026
This policy explains what information vivekbhargava.co collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. It covers the advertising and analytics technologies used on this site, including the Meta Pixel, Google Analytics and Google Ads.
1. Who this policy covers
This site is operated by Vivek Bhargava, a restaurant, café and bar growth consultant working with businesses in the United States ("we", "us", "I"). This policy applies to vivekbhargava.co and the enquiry form on it. It does not cover third-party sites you reach from links here, which have their own policies.
Questions about this policy or your information: use the enquiry form on the homepage and mention your question in the message.
2. Information you give us
When you submit the strategy call form, you provide:
- Your name
- Restaurant or business name
- City
- Business type (restaurant, café or bar)
- Email address
- Phone number
- The challenge you select from the dropdown
We use this only to respond to your enquiry, prepare for the call you requested, and follow up about working together. We do not sell this information.
3. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this one records technical information when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and time spent. This is used to keep the site working, measure which pages perform, and measure advertising.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
This site uses the following, which set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser:
| Technology | Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Meta Pixel | Meta Platforms, Inc. | Measures which visitors come from Facebook and Instagram ads, records when an enquiry form is submitted, and builds audiences so ads can be shown to similar people or to you again on Meta platforms. |
| Google Analytics 4 | Google LLC | Measures traffic, page performance and how visitors move through the site. |
| Google Ads | Google LLC | Measures conversions from Google Ads and supports remarketing, so ads may be shown to you again across Google's network. |
| Web3Forms | Web3Forms | Receives the enquiry form submission and delivers it to us by email. |
You can control cookies in your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site work. Section 8 lists opt-outs specific to each advertising provider.
5. How your information is shared
Information is shared only with:
- Service providers that operate parts of this site — the form handler (Web3Forms), the web host, and the analytics and advertising providers named above — each processing data on our behalf or as described in their own policies.
- Advertising platforms, where pixel and tag data is used to measure and target ads. Under some US state privacy laws this activity is treated as "sharing" or a "sale" of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, even though no money changes hands. Section 7 explains how to opt out.
- Legal requirements, where disclosure is required by law or to protect legal rights.
We do not sell your contact details, and we do not share enquiry form contents with other businesses.
6. Where your information is processed
The site serves visitors in the United States and is operated from India. Information you submit may be processed in, or accessible from, India, the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection rules than your own.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live — including California, and other US states with comparable laws — you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information is collected and how it is used
- Request a copy of that information
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information for targeted advertising
- Not be treated differently for exercising any of these rights
To exercise any of these, submit the enquiry form on the homepage stating your request and the email address or phone number you used, so we can locate your record. We will respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
This site honours the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where your browser sends one, treating it as an opt-out of sharing for targeted advertising.
8. Opting out of advertising and analytics
- Meta: adjust ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
- Google Ads: use Google's Ad Settings to control personalised advertising.
- Google Analytics: install Google's official browser opt-out add-on.
- Industry-wide: the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org) offer opt-outs across many advertisers at once.
- Your browser: block or delete cookies, or use private browsing.
9. How long information is kept
Enquiry form submissions are kept for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of the business relationship, then deleted on request. Analytics and advertising data is retained according to the providers' own retention settings.
10. Security
The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
This site is aimed at restaurant, café and bar owners and operators. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and it will be deleted.
12. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the site or the tools it uses change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
13. Contact
For any privacy question or request, use the enquiry form on the homepage.
